Hi from UK 8 stringer!
Hi, I was recommended this site from someone on the Talkbass site.

Been playing bass (mainly six string) for about 12 years, but got my first guitar last week.

Here it is...


I just can't help feeling bad I left it so long to get one! It feels so natural to play.

Hope to meet some like minded extended range players and if you wanna check out my blog, please do. If you have any suggestions for transcriptions let me know. I also have one of those myspazz things, not a music one yet. but soon.

Hi there...

1: I tune it EAD (bass) adgbe (normal guitar)

2: I suppose you could call it a charlie hunter model, but it is just an 8 string. Novax actually make the charlie hunter signature guitar. This just has the same string and pickup configuration.

I've just been lookin for amps today...it's a lot harder than i thought to find just one amp that can take both inputs!!
