Whats up 7S.org? I'm a death metal fan, and vocalist. I have been wanting to learn guitar for some time now for my own personal recordings (eventually) and to have more knowledge for band input. A friend of mine gave me a free Ibanez S7420. So I figure there is no better time to learn.

nah, just been friends for years and he has a ton of guitars. he actually had 2 of the S7420s.. one he gave me, and one he uses for shows. hopefully I can find a decent band to join that the guitarist can make good use of it until I can make it play anything other than basic stuff. ;D

I see youre learning guitar. You should try some old Metallica/Pantera, excellent learning composition, and easy to find tabs.
