Hey I got this idea from the shrapnel thread so here goes. My faves are--

Rock Chops- Richie Kotzen. Ive owned this for like 12 years and I still love it.

Monster licks and speed picking- Frank Gambale. Just the part on sweepable pentatonics is worth it.

Intense Rock- Paul Gilbert. Kick ass

Thats it for now, Id like to see what others have to say.
Oh yea, I dont have it yet but would give Rusty Cooley honarable mention b/c I have heared Shred Guitar Manifesto is killer.

Reb Beach's, hands down. It rules.

JP's Rock Discipline is probably second, and then maybe Yngwie's 'Play Loud', although he isn't really the greatest teacher. In fact, compared to Reb and John, his pedagogical style sucks! I like Paul's vid, too. There's another real good teacher.

PG - Terrifying Guitar Trip.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

Agree on all of the above! In addition, Shawn Lane's REH videos are really inspirational, as are both of Brett Garsed's videos. Michael Lee Firkins' video has some really cool indiosyncratic licks on it as well.

As for guitar, anytime I think I'm getting good, then I watch JP's Rock Discipline, and then reality brings me back!! Seriously I use JP's warmups all the time...it's a great DVD!

Akrin is a jewel in the rough
Rock Discipline is great, and Paul Gilbert's videos are all awesome.

+1 on the Shawn Lane videos.
Memorize those two and you're a monster player.

Honorable mention to the PG videos. They're not only informative, but fun as well.

"Thank YOU, Jim Day!"
