Ear Training CDs

Hey,

I usually make up my own ear training stuff to practice with, but the tracks are only 20/30 minutes at most. In a months time I'm off around Europe with the lady for 4 weeks, without a guitar. So i figured it would be a good opportunity to really get some serious work done on my ear. However, i can't be arsed recording hours and hours of stuff to work with. Anyone know any good stand alone CDs for ear training? It would just be that ripped to my mp3 player, maybe, a small book. But a stand alone CD would be far easier. Any ideas?

Alright, I have tried the David Lucas Berge Perfect Pitch course on cd (ripped to mp3 then on iPod) and his relative pitch supercourse (there's about 4x the content of the PP course, so I think its justified in being called a supercourse).

Anyhow, I recently got a new "jazz ear course", I haven't listened through, and there is a course called "Golden Ears Audio" which I haven't got yet, but apparently is geared towards production and managing mixes. Looks quality, haven't tried myself though.

So your choises are:

-David Lucas Berge's Perfect Pitch course (Cds plus book): Perfect Pitch Ear Training SuperCourse: Name Notes & Chords by EAR.

-And his Relative Pitch Course (also on that site) / Cds plus book

-Jamey Aebersold - Jazz Ear Training Course/CDs plus book (Mainly relative pitch, and jazz chordal progressions and scale recognition) Ear Training (MAIN - NO ITEMS IN THIS CATEGORY): Jazzbooks.com

-Golden Ears Audio (Production and mixing) Cds plus book

I'd be very interested in hearing what peoples experiences have been with various ear training packages. I am yet to know someone who actually benefited from any of the well known courses and/or ear training applications. I have spent a bit of time mucking with ear master pro, but I haven't been very consistent. It is hard to commit the time when I am not convinced yet it will do anything.
