i know picking style is 100% subjective but seriously ive gone through like 5 styles inthe last month none of which i feel potential to build up speed on atall...
help me !!! ... what do your picking gods pick like ? or maybe your pretty damn quick yourself , either way i want to know and see what you guys pick like ![]()

Wrist. In my opinion it is the best way. Accenting, string skipping, dynamics are all very possible with practice. Where as the thumb picking lacks power and elbow picking involves tension at high speed and makes string skipping while muting very difficult.
You need to find a way that is comfortable and stick to it. Its more important to find a method thats comfortable than one that is fast for short bursts. My ![]()

Don't try pickings styles, work on one.
My sugesttion would be work hard on alternate, but another guy tell you to practice economic, so just use what your favorite guitar players use. |
