Looking for a book...
I want to break out of my usual musical comfort zone, and I'm looking to find a book that has some interesting (unusual?) chords, different scales, scales and chords that work well together, etc. Anyone have any recommendations?

Guthrie Govan's 'Creative Guitar' books are excellent as well, particularly the second one. |

Just for the Curious - Allan Holdsworth
if you really study this book and the way he sees the neck etc it can really open your playing in whatever style you choose to play
I no longer want children, I have a Black Machine.

Oh, and Corey Christiansen's 'Coltrane Changes for Guitar' book. It's heavy going, but makes a lot of modern jazz concepts a lot more accessible. I actually have it open in front of me as I type.
