jem_legacy is on a distinguished road
Yes he has tuned to open C since he started playing guitar. I'm just a begginger and thought of changing all my guitars to this tuning. So far I like the one finger chord stuff I can play now, much more comfortable. And the dropped G for my 7, but now I have trouble learning scales and chords in this tuning.

I know Led Zepplins "friends" is in open C but anyone know of a site where I can learn the scales and chords for this tuning. As for songs, anything from Devin is good.

Don't grab chords from the internet, learn how to build them - yes, that'll mean the horrors of theory, but you'll be better off for it. For scales, the best way is to go by intervals, remember what goes where, and try working with different layouts before you figure out what's best - obviously, the standard-tuned 3NPS things won't work, so I usually use four notes per string between the C and G (or any pair of strings where the top is a fifth above the bottom) and three between the G and the next C (or any pair of strings where the top is a fourth above the bottom) for a seven-note scale. For chords, take advantage of the chords you can do without stretches - if, say, you wanted to play a low Em, you could just bar the two lowest strings at the fourth fret and then use your ring or pinky on the seventh fret of the third string (an inversion that places the third above the root and fifth), where a standard-tuned guitarist would be stuck with either a five-fret stretch or a different Em. Drop tunings and open tunings make a lot of the practical side of theory easier, take advantage of that and don't be lazy.

On topic, he may be using a low-tuned 7 for that song, there are several songs on TNB that use 7s. He has stated that his main 7-string tuning was GCGCGCE.

ib7321 will become famous soon enough
You can go to Devin's website HvyDvy (I think thats it) and join the forums there. They have a section where people can share tabs of devins work and i recently saw the sweeping part for wrong side
