I decided to make 2 different threads, for better organization..

Is there any site or pdf with all the possible drop 2 or 3 chords?

Thanks a lot!

ARe you talking about Sus chords? add chords?

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

No idea what a drop 2/3 chord is. Elaborate.

OK...just to elaborate; a drop 2 chord is when you take any four note seventh chord (maj7, min7, 7 or min/maj7), or one of it's inversions, and drop the second note from the top an octave.

For instance, if you were taking the first inversion of a major seventh chord...

3rd, 5th, 7th, Root

Then the drop 2 variation would be...

7th, 3rd, 5th, Root.

A drop 3 chord is the same concept, only it's the third note of the chord that's dropped down an octave. Say you have a root position maj7 chord...

Root, 3rd, 5th, 7th

The Drop 3 version would be

3rd, Root, 5th, 7th.

Dreaming in infared...

How would it be a drop 2 chord of a cmaj7 in root position for example?
There is some point that I got confused, that is why I did this thread, and I didn't explained it.

Rayder is on a distinguished road
just do chords like A/Cmajor7 or something...

those chords are just regular Cmaj7 chords, but you play a low A note with it.

Seems like you are more confused than I..
It has to be a chord tone.
