   | New tuning! Just experimenting with AEDGAD on the acoustic. I want to try it on the electric now, but I don't have a hardtail guitar with me... Shame, as it would be great distorted... You can play twelth diads on the bottom strings using this fingering, 2x4xxx, and 11ths like this, x2x4xx, which would work really well for heavy rhythm stuff... Man, I need tremel-nos in all my guitars...it would make my various tuning changes a lot easier... 'If one octave isn't interesting then who the hell cares about the others?!' | Very nice. I should give that tuning a try. I've been playing around with opening tunings for the last two months, applying standard arpeggio shapes... But it makes it much easier to be creative as a rhythm player (which is something that I lack terribly). |
