Tapping and open tunings on an acoustic 12-string...
...is way more fun than any mere mortal should be allowed to have! I finally slapped my acoustic 12 into an open tuning (open G) over the weekend, inspired by a lesson in the last issue of Guitar Techniques, and tried out some Preston Reed-style tapping grooves on it...
Holy fuck, this stuff sounds massive on a twelve! If you own one TRY IT NOW!!! Your life will be better for it!  |
