I hate trailers now-a-days. Is it just me or do they seem to give away the entire fucking plot away in 2 minutes?

Heres an example:

The trailer they had here was worse. They started it out with the inside of the facillity, your thinking "interesting, cool set-up I wonder where they go with.." "NO YOU CANT FALL IN LOVE" *cut to main characters escaping compound*
"OH MY THERES A WORLD OUTSIDE THE ISLAND"
"YOUR NOT REAL, YOU'RE COPY'S OF PEOPLE, CLONES!" *cut to main character getting the girl*
"DONT YOU GET IT? YOU ARE HIM, HE IS YOU!!11one!" *cut to clip of climax of the film*

What ever happened to just giving people a taste... a really simple feeling of the movie, its meant to make you curious about watching it, not explain the plot to you.

I agree.

I've began to hate watching trailers for anything. I went into Cloverfield not even knowing anything about it, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Cloverfield is actually a good example of advertising/trailers done right
