I haven't been to the drive-in since seeing Terminator 2, back in like '90 or so. I actually saw the very first Star Wars movie at this very same drive-in, waaaaaaay back in '77, when I was not even 3 yet. http://www.wolf.org |

Though I vastly prefer the local cinema with it's chest thumping sound and reclinging seats. I do have really fond memories of venturing off to the drive-in with my parents and sleeping in the back seat of the car on the way home. The only proof he needed for the existance of God was music. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I hate the volume at most of the theaters around here. No, I shouldn't have to bring my own defibrillator to keep my heart beating on its own when someone walks across the room. Yes, I understand that most people around here are deaf because they have poor taste in music and make up for quality with volume. No, I'd rather not be able to tune my guitar to the ringing in my ears. That's one reason I haven't gone to a theater in a while... Jeff |

![]() | there is a GINORMOUS one here in atlanta and it has at least 6 screens and you have to call in for tickets early as it is always packed with cars I Really Like Ibanez Seven String Guitars Origanally posted by Variant - Pulled from the river Styx, the mighty black oar of doom in hand! I certainly would not call this particular guitar an "axe" more like a club. Whereas Noodles' KxK would run through an emo, spilling his insides for a quick death, this blunt mace would bludgeon the unfortunate effeminate soul, breaking bones, bruising muscle, and causing internal bleeding to lead only to a slow, painful death ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've spent many a warm summer night at the local drive-in. First with Mom and my family, and then with friends and a keg. Good times! Good times! If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It was a good time! I saw 'Sped Racer', which I had zero interest in seeing, but hey, it was pretty good for what it was. (The deal is pay $7.50 for 2 movies, hence, the Speed Racer.) The Iron Man, which was totally terrific. As a life-long comic book collector, and Iron Man fan since I was about 8, it was cool as ice, I must say. RDjr. was just fantastic in the role. Good times, indeed. And my girl had a blast, too. ![]() |
