This news hit me really hard. Mr. Clark was my all-time favorite author, and his contributions to literature and science are as wondrous and vast as the stories he told.

This sucks. And I only found recently that "Rendezvous With Rama" is to be made into a film. It would've been great if he were around to see it's completion.

Hopefully Morgan Freeman and David Fincher will make a stellar adaptation of the novel to honor his memory.
