Life After People

Life After People - The History Channel

did anyone else catch this last night? I thought it was pretty interesting.

I liked how they showed real-world examples to highlight their points. I thought the part featuring Chernobyl was very interesting and was pleasantly surprised on how much the area had recovered in 20 years.

I watched it (i always watch TLC,TDC, History Channel and NAT GEO).
It was actually pretty cool, but throughout the whole think, i was thinking that the most likely senerio for people to go extinct would not leave everything in an untouched state, most likely it will be a comet/asteroid or nukes, i really doubt that in the entire history of humans a virus will wipe us out, it hasnt in the millions of years of evolution, but still, it was a great show

Yes, that is exactly the same feeling I had about it. Where did everyone go? did the rapture kick in

One thing I would have liked them to cover but they didn't was how long would satellites remain in orbit.

I haven't watched it yet, but I made damn sure to DVR it, so it's waiting for me whenever I get around to it.

I finally got around to watching this after TIVO-ing it on you folks' recommendation. It is pretty damn slick, I love the part about the bridges.
