It's an entertaining film. I enjoyed it, although I thought the ending was kinda sad. Check out the other threads, Chris.

AWESOME FILM!!!!

Definately my favourite recent film. Completely immersive, great plot, visual fx, sound, everything! Definately how a 'saving the world' film should be. (As opposed to the sentimental human interest pap of 'armaggedon' and 'deep impact')

Its worth trying to watch it with a decent surround system + big screen though, there are some scenes (mainly where they show the outside of the ship, comms towers, sunshield etc) that are stunning on a good system.

Watch it!

I actually saw this the other night myself. It was alright, aesthetically pleasing at least. I'd give it 2/4 Cousin Larrys.

A definite must see movie I saw the night after was this. Unbelievable movie. Fucked up but just so well done. Completely unique and unpredictable.
