Bammbamm has a spectacular aura about
Recommended reading material

1st and foremost, I recommend Hunter S. Thompson to those not familiar.
Start with "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" (The film captured the spirit of the book VERY well)

I'm in the middle of "Hammer of the Gods" The Led Zeppelin Saga, by Steven Davis
If you've ever liked their music, this is a great book so far. I sit with my ipod on repeat for each album during my reading of each era, it also made me grab other music that is discussed. The book can be found dirt cheap on Amazon, I nabbed a used hard cover for 4 bucks.

Tom Clancy:
Rainbow Six
Debt of Honor
Sum of All Fears

Michael Crighton (sp?)
The Hot zone

Victor O'Reilly's
Games of the Hangman

Enjoy!

Rig: Dunlop DCR-ISR > Mesa Triaxis > Mesa 2: Ninety 4x12 cab with G12-85 Celestions. In the loop are: TC Electronic G Major > MXR Digital Time Delay. Korg DTR-100 from the Mesa's Recording out, an easy way to avoid routing through one more device that could mess with your tone.

Guitars: Ibanez RG2027VV (fully Scalloped), RG7620VK (fully scalloped), Jem 575TOF, RG550BK-skullz, JTK-1, RG-ART, Hand made Gilmore Nylon string, '63 Epiphone Serenader

I would also put Crichtons "The Andromeda Strain" on that list and "Enders Game" by Orson Scott Card
