'Powers of Horror: An Essay on Abjection', by Juila Kristeva
This is probably the most impenetrable academic text I have ever attempted to read. It's like dipping your whole head in tar.
Has anyone else attempted to read it? The concepts she's talking about aren't too bad (I had several lectures on it last year when I was studying 'Frankenstein'), but it's written in the most obscure language imaginable.
Nothing like a good depressant to chase the blues away!
