![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | In Honor Of Chris's Bob Ross Thread... I present to you... Professor Julius Sumner Miller! http://www.abc.net.au/science/featur...so/default.htm This guy made physics fun. He was so damn enthusiastic abuot science! Anyone remember him? (He was a PBS staple, just like Bob Ross. These guys really define if you are Gen X or not. )My fiance made such a great point - imagine Bob Ross as your high school art teacher, and Professor Miller as your science teacher. Man, I probably would have never dropped out. ![]() (Chris, GREAT Bob Ross post, BTW. I love that stuff.) http://www.wolf.org |

I love this stuff like Julius and Nova and don't even get me gushing about Cosmos. ![]() The only proof he needed for the existance of God was music. Kurt Vonnegut Jr. Without music, life would be a mistake. Friedrich Nietzsche |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | How the fuck did I miss this? Randomly saw it in the related threads list... I've been trying to put together a nice presentation for elementary school kids, to mix stuff like this with a bit of mad-scientist flash and make it look fun while showing how basic some very important stuff can be... and to have an excuse to break out the Tesla coils. Science guys = win. Jeff |
