Wow, old thread!
This guy did so much for my outlook. To this day, you want to arrest my attention, show me a science show on TV. I could barely talk to my girlfriend earlier, because I happened randomly across a Science channel show about plate tectonics, and the history of earth's geology (of which I know much, but still... it's science). Here he is, demonstrating how Bernoulli's principle enchants his soul.
