2 Films I worked on.
The War Photographer
We had to find a poem and make a 3 minute film using that poem as the narration. Now, the narration hasn't come out too clear on this version mainly because of compression, we think (we decided to get our own version and put it on disc because of how the Uni take our work and we never get it back etc...). The music is a little bit clearer than the narration, although the picture quality is also a bit 'liney' but not unwatchable. Casino Royale with Cheese This one is a tongue-in-cheek parody of the majority of the student films we get shown by our lecturers as being 'good'. They all involve poker being played at tables in boxing rings, which if I'm correct (and I know I am ) was done in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Also, the films are always really straight-faced and serious, sometimes over-serious lol. They're also, very often, under-exposed with bad acting, shaky camera work and have a bad choice of shots used in the final piece So we mocked them It was funny sitting and editing this film and seeing multiple groups around us making films depicting the idea we were making fun of...we're such bastards . In this film I play one of the players.Anyway, the sound has come out fine on this one but once again it is a bit 'liney' due to the compression settings that my mate used. Enjoy y'all. P.S Links are in the titles, just noticed its not immediately obvious that they're links.
More words here is more words.

I really liked The War Photographer. Very cool. As an American watching it, the English accent in the narration even added something more to it.

Cheers, the guy in it (Luke aka Jesus) has been in pretty much every film we've made because he's an awesome actor. Granted that "The War Photographer" is our only serious film to date but still it just shows he diverse lol
It's a shame we don't have our films from the first year in which I played a hostage encased in a duvet cover with a black bin bag over my head, duct-taped to a chair and fed grapes that was an experience to say the least lol. |
