Poetry Book

I posted this about six months back but I don't think there was a forum for books then. Anyway, I write a lot of poetry; my first full-length collection came out in February. It's called A Mnemonic for Desire and can be ordered from Amazon, B & N or any store that orders through Ingram. If you're curious, I have more info on my website, along with a link to buy a signed copy.

We all need to be adopting green energy sources: solar, wind, alternative fuels. we only have one planet to live on.

Sorry, man, I didn't see your reply. Thanks a lot. I didn't publish it, it went through a publishing company. Sort of like a record deal but for a book (--grins--). Not that poetry makes any money. My royalty checks are hilarious. I think I've made in the neighborhood of thirty - fifty dollars from it so far.

Hey, that's awesome, dude. I do finance and write music these days, but back in college I was a lit major with a focus in creative writing, and I want to get back into writing after I finish my CD.

Who do you cite as influences? For $13.95, I'd love to buy a signed copy. The paypal link?

Yeah, you can buy it through the paypal link (plus the shipping is free). As far as influences, I'm pretty eclectic, everything from John Ashbery to Fanny Howe to Billy Collins.

If you're interested in more poetry, I edit an online journal called three candles (http://threecandles.org/poetry.html) and also have an archive of contemporary poetry, called Poetry 365, at (http://poetry365.com).

You can send me a PM or email about writing (or music or whatever) anytime.

Take care,

Steve
