Robert Downey Jr. to play Ironman.
Kind of a weird choice IMHO, at least hes a good actor.

He's a TERRIFIC actor. A very odd choice given he's not exactly an A-lister these days and he's not really young anymore. I always thought he was better off being a villian. Christian Slater is the same way, way too smug and cocky to be a good guy. Christian Slater in that movie "Very Bad Things" was beyond epic

As a long-time Iron-Man fan (been reading it, along with The Avengers, since I was 8) I think its a pretty good choice. Tony Stark is a complex individual, who has battled fame, fortune, and substance abuse. He is a decent guy, somewhat reclusive, very briliant in his field, who wants to make a difference.

Sounds like RD Jr.

Plus, he has dark hair, similar build, and even looks a bit RD Jr. Excellent choice. MUCH better than Tobey Macguire as Spidey (although his acting was decent), or even worse - Topher Grace as Venom!

Marvel movies are basically all HORRIBLE in my opinion. Spider Man II and Fantastic Four especially. I hope this is an exception.

^ I thought Spidey 2 was terrific, as were X-Men 1 and 2. 3 was so-so, I was afraid to see FF, from all the bad reviews.

Daredevil was eh. Hulk was eh.

I'm looking forward most of all to a Thor or a Captain America movie. Those guys are my favorites, next to DC's Superman.
