I'd kinda disagree with you there. Sure, the Joel Schumacher ones were absolute abominations, but you just cannot fault the Tim Burton efforts. That is if you consider those films to be of the same franchise at all?

Yeah, exactly. Tim's were pretty good (although, heh, almost 20 years later, I'm still upset at the casting of fucking Keaton as Batman. )

But even so, I though Batman Begins was better even than the original, Burton Batman. By an order of 2 to the 27th power.

Well, not quite that much.

I feel the same way, Frenchy. I love Burton, and his Batman was excellent. But Nolan's was BATMAN, if you know what I mean. It was Frank Miller, it was Gil Kane, it was Dark Knight... it just had "it."

Apparently the trailer is playing ahead of movies in IMAX theatres. I heard they used IMAX cameras in shooting the film to get super-high-resolution detail and texture.
