Mr. Brooks

Just watched this tonight, and boy, what a thrilling film! Definetly one of the most interesting Serial Killer stories for a long time, and really shows what a clever film on the subject can do compared to such overblown tosh like Hannibal.

Infact, I was really wondering if Kevin Costner was actually going to be believable as a killer, but you know what? Not only does he portray a character who gets a thrill from killing people believably, he also portrays a very conflicted side of the title character aswell, and other aspects. I'm really taken back by the sheer range and believability displayed by Costner, he gives a very '3D' preformance.

I'm not going to go into any plot details, because I think this is a film that you're better off not knowing a lot about before watching. Suffice to say, the plot is a very juicey one, which really packs in a lot of storylines, takes a few twists and turns, and kept me absolutely gripped right to the end.

Great film.

Yeah, this was a pretty interesting film. I hated that one annoying character that kept bugging Kevin Costner through the whole film.
