No not at all, I think you're right. But then again it doesn't really matter that much to me because I don't care what people do to themselves as long as it doesn't affect me. Straight-edge means no drugs, drink or sex without love(girlfriend or whatnot ) I didn't know about the Vegan thing though, cos I eat meat. I'd never classify myself as a straight-edge person though. I just so happen to not drink, smoke or do drugs and I don't have sex with randomers.

Straight edge? That's cool man. Maybe you can explain me why some of my friends tell they're straight edge but occasionally drink a glass of wine. They're a young couple (She:23 , He:22) and they say they're straight edge but they say that it's okay to have a glass of wine from time to time...
From what i know it means being vegan and don't do any form of drugs. So per definitionem they're not straight edge... and yet they just laugh and say that they are when i tell them about this... am i making an idiot out of myself?
