I have had the D-Sonic and custom neck and the CL/LF combo in the ones I had. Honestly love both sets. But I love the Petrucci tone and the kind of rolled off highs and smooth fluidity of the pickups. If I was going to go with BKP's in one I would probably go Aftermath. Don't think you could go wrong there.

Yeah I don't know why the hell that do that. Put some foam under it. That will allow you to adjust it and keep it stable. Both my BFR and JPX are the same way, but the pickup height is okay. The rosewood necked regular JP I had, had a piece of foam under the pickups. I am assuming a previous owner did it and not EBMM.

If it's not too much trouble, could you let me know what brand and gauge the strings you had on the Rga are? I've fallen in love with them

Hey, i noticed you posted that you have an RGA 121 with a painkiller pup. I also have an RGA 121 and am going to buy a painkiller soon. I am undecided as to whether to get a cover(black probably) or leave it open, which did you choose?, and if you have a pic so i can see what it looks like would be cool. Also are you happy that you got the PK?, thanks in advance man.
