It looks like I'm going to be the proud owner of the Eleven Rack. I did some math and realized just how well off I'm doing now compared to when I bought the RGD2127z.

I use "eggeh's djent tone" with some tweaks that I'll keep to myself

I just DI using the pod's usb out and record. There is some post-eq and that is it.

No impulse is used just regular POD cab sims, you want to mix out the hiss sound as much as you can and restore the "balls" that is lost by compressing the signal through a USB connection.

(bring up an ReaEQ plugin on the FX tab and play around with the 11 band setting, or use the presets)

I also used to bass track on that mix, just 2 guitar tracks split left and right.

I'm pretty sure I will buy it if he can just wait a little while. I work every single day, so I'm confident it can be at my doorstep before the bass is finished, but I'd rather be smart about it.

I need to make sure I have enough money to pay the remaining $1297 for my bass when it's finished. I have enough to buy his 11R now, but I wouldn't feel very comfortable about how little I have left since I have no idea how much I'll make until then.
I owned an RGD2127z for about a month. I was in a car wreck about 20 minutes after it was shipped to me, and I had to return it so I could pay the insurance deductible to have it repaired. I'm not letting anything like that happen again.
