IMHO, it's not as bad as the real caricature the guy drew.

When the first ME game came out I didn't get into it. It then last year I bought the first 2 for pretty cheap and loved both of them. I'm glad the ending doesn't ruin the experience of the 3rd one though, I imagined it would have to be the absolute worst to even come closetl ruining it though .

If you're looking to expand your beer palette a little bit, give some of these a try:

Out of Bounds Stout
Tons of malty thick tones, a lot of caramel and dark, bitter chocolate flavors.

The Reverend Quadrupel Ale
A lot of slightly sweet fruity under tones. Strong and bitter, but very smooth. Kinda like the Sangria of beers.

Old No.38 Stout
A very coffee and nut focused Stout. I think this is one of the few Stouts to get the coffee flavors right.

Bell's Brewery, Inc. :: Brands
A thick and heavy RIS with a little fruity tones to it.

Brewery Ommegang. Belgian brewing in America.
A nice thick Abbey. I think you may like this one a lot.

I actually started reading Taiko once, but I kindof took my sweet time and ended up shipping off to boot camp before I was even half way done. I've been meaning to pick it up since then, but I keep forgetting, which is odd since I've read Musashi a few more times since then.
