Yep, I'm the real thing, complete with Viking ancestors.

Edinburgh is a fantastic city. It's well worth a visit. It's likely that I'll be heading there at the end of this year to do an English degree at Edinburgh university.

    Hey man,

I live right at the top of Scotland, in a small town called Thurso. My girlfriend works in John o' Groats - that should give you an indication of how far north I am. It's a beautiful place if the weather is nice. The summers can be roasting hot, but the winters can be cruel (-10 degrees).

I've visited all of Scotland's major cities (Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen), and there are excellent music shops in every one. I bought my first ever electric guitar from guitarguitar in Edinburgh. Admittedly, it isn't a huge shop but the guys are very helpful. I honestly don't think that you can go wrong in any of the cities.

Hmmm.

    Sevenstring Guitars
    - Schecter C7 Blackjack in A-standard
    - Upcoming 2018 customs with 7321 neck
    - Upcoming Sims customs with 1527 neck
    Other Guitars
Gibson Les Paul Studio (vintage mahogany) - actually, my main guitar for my non-metal band.
    Preamp/Amps
Lifesound Horizon head (Dual Recto + Fender Bassman clone)
    Effects & Pedals
TC Electronic G Major - this one will have to go, because its relay-switching isn't compatible with my current amp. Since I will have to tap dance anyway, I'd rather have FX pedals instead and save some money, also ditching my FCB 1010 in the process.

    TS-9 - indispensable!

POD X3L - my main source of FX currently; also my pre-amp when I'm not that eager to carry my rig around
    Cabinets / Monitors
Lifesound custom 2x12" loaded with Eminence Legend speakers
    Studio & Recording Gear
    POD X3 Live
    Misc/Other Gear
A Czech Cello bow for guitar use. Some unknown brand Portuguese mandola.
