Yeah... the cool part is my die maker did the print on ble-print Mylar (thin plastic) which rolls out nicely and cant be ripped or damaged... and added the "upgrades" i want on my build... plotted the bridge and routing details as well... all for a twelver of labatts!!!

Hey boss... had my die maker do a print on the 8 string specs... EVERYTHING is perfectly to scale printed 1:1... just an fyi tho... the tolerances ranged any where from .00125 to .00138 from program to print... not sure if that was because the transfer via PDF... but its definitely not gonna hurt the overall in the end!!! Cant thank you enough!!

Hey man... that zip file you have of the 8 string measurements... is there a way you can get that to me in a .jpg, .mpeg, or any other way that doesnt use a CAD program??? I'm starting a buget build myself but can view the dimensions. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thx!

Hmmmm the more I think of it, the more it seems like a great idea. Having the guitar shipped in parts means I don't pay the stratospheric import taxes we have here, which makes such a deal viable.

The only thing getting in the way is that I'm a little short on money atm, and I'd rather save a little bit first. I should be selling my C7 and my G Major (which I haven't done so far out of laziness) and then I'll get back to you, ok?

Yeah, perhaps. It's just that Patrick (from Sims) was building me a body where I would fit the 1527 neck. It happens that it appears that he's never built a 1527 neck pocket before, so he asked me to send him the neck so that he could route the pocket accordingly.

I was kinda considering purchasing a 7621 neck and send him; meanwhile, perhaps I could have the 1527 built from scratch and maybe sell it here, dunno. How much are you asking for the body?

Btw, what else do you have from the original guitar?

    Cheers

    Hey Andrius!

Have you sold the 1527 body already?
