I still haven't picked up any Secret Invasion stuff for budget reasons (a huge round of text-book buying in the near future), although I borrowed my brother's copy of Messiah Complex, and am really enjoying that at the moment...

OK...summary coming up!

Remember the Monitor from the original 'Crisis on Infinite Earths'? The guy whose job it was to safeguard the integrity of the Multiverse?

Basically, at the end of Infinite Crisis, where the Multiverse was resurrected, each of the 52 new worlds ended up with its own Monitor, and the all of them worked together to perform the same function as the original. They all used to be clones of the original, but started evolving personalities of their own to suit their own universes, hence why they all look different now.

The guy who got exiled, Nix Uotan, was basically exiled for being the token liberal amongst them...

Hope that makes some sort of sense...

Lol... OK, the one who came to fetch Superman was one of the Monitors, as was the black guy who got fired; he was the one who was exiled by the others and turned into a human in issue 1. Superman's apparently going to get sent off to look round the multiverse with a bunch of alternate versions of himself in a tie-in series.

As for Montoya, it looked like SHADE who were after her (shady (giggle!) government types from the Seven Soldiers series).

...And yeah, Mary's new outfit is just...

It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out, especially given that they haven't really dropped many clues as to how the Multiverse factors into all this yet.

CD is being mixed, and still need to add a few tracks, so I think it will be done by October. I don't know about a tour, but we are doing a lot of gigging in the Florida area as soon as the end of this month hits. Just rehearsing w the new drummer. Ya, I wish he was with us when we went to Jemfest...he smokes!!!!!!! He's VERY good!
