Very True. Anyway I have a few questions to ask you ( because you know the answer to almost everything ). Why is it my sound isn't as thick in Drop D with 10-52's, and I believe 9's came on my classic when I got it used. How is the tone also heavier when the sting gauge is lighter?

I as planning on getting a 2228 tbh man, and I'd prefer it. But, money is tight, and I lost my temp job half way through (had I stayed on the rest of the placement, I would've been able to afford a 2228).

So I'm tossing up between waiting for another job to come around, and save for a 2228, or buy an RGA8 now and upgrade when I have the cash.

Hi Max, quick question, whats the quality like on the new RGA8s? I know there were a few issues with the nut and bridges, have these been resolved on updated models?
