    Hey dude.

Well I was playing over the original dubstep track, so really it's just the fact that the guitar is syncing up in time with the wubbing of the bass lines. What I would suggest is to listen to some original dubstep and trying and visualise the physical act of how the parts would be played on a real instrument.

Thanks man Ah thats cool man more gear is always good! I mostly use my RG2027x atm, want to move to 8 strings though.
Yeah man its always better when you get someone elses input in to help flesh things out. I think your tunes have a lot of potential for what I have in mind, they're already sick as they are. Reso is a good example of what sorta stuff I'd like to try, but with a more Sybreed/Fear Factory/Meshuggah approach. YouTube - Dubstep - Reso - If You Cant Beat Em (Original Mix)
I was going to use Drumkit From Hell, but I thought I may as well get SD2.0 as that is by all accounts better. And sweet man look forward to hearing!

Oh right fair dooze! Yeah thats cool, we can try both ways If you make a sick beat I can jam over it, and vice versa. And fair dooze I'd love an Axe FX, my ideal rig would be that through a Mesa Boogie. And its just got a bug that means it cuts out when connected with Cubase. I need to get it fixed and get a copy of Superior Drummer, then I'm ready to go. Those tunes are sweet man! Really like em.

Cyconine - Tracks - SoundCloud I have a few little riffs I wrote for my solo work there, no drums and zero mixing though so they're off time and shitty lol.

Thats cool I'd also like to try it the other way around though, as it'd be nice to try and write with that in mind instead of the normal way of having it guitar orientated like most metal bands. Do you do any guitar recording yourself? I need to get my pod fixed at the minute And fair man that makes things easier!

Yeah man, keep the guitars tight and that frees up room in the mix a bit. Thats cool man, I mean I'm currently unable to record at the moment, but if you flesh out some ideas for beats then I can mess around and try and write parts over them. I play in drop G and Bb so if you keep that in mind when writing basslines then that would help me. As for driving, I drive so once we have something workable I can get about easily enough. And theres a rehearsal studio literally right next to the train station here so its not hard to get to.

Yeah man, I think I know a few people who would be down for it. As for the bass, I think for drop G tuning down is the way to go, but when we go to 8 strings as I'd like to, I'd prefer to tune in unison. That leaves the electronic bass to fill the void, otherwise its all going to be too bassy. I think the guitars and bass need to sit a bit higher in the mix so they don't get lost.
I don't know how we'd sort out the electronics, I think you probably know more about that than I do, but yeah having them in via laptop would probably be the way to go, I know Tesseract and Chimp Spanner do that. And sawbridgeworth man

Man you're a sick vocalist! That tune is ....ing sick too, I think this guy Reso is a good example of what would work well with some low chuggy stuff. YouTube - Dubstep - Reso - If You Cant Beat Em (Original Mix)

I want to be that crossed with Meshuggah, Combichrist and a bit of American Head Charge.

Hey man, noticed you're interested in forming a dubstep-djent band? You do vocals right? And can you make dubstep tracks?
