Yeah, I tried Rosetta Stone a while ago and it wasn't exactly what I thought it would be (the ads on television make it seem so amazing...but then again, that's advertising ). Where did you work while you were in the military?

That's awesome man. I need to motivate myself to look for an opportunity to study it sometime...whether it be formal or informal (Rosetta Stone maybe? ). Did you learn to write it as well?

Hey man, I noticed your post in the hobbies thread. My dad is from Lebanon and speaks Arabic all the time with his family. A few of his brothers moved to Germany about three decades ago and have been living in Krefeld for as long as I can remember (close to Dusseldorf and Frankfurt if my memory serves correctly). They since learned German and English and speak them fluently (3 languages...I'm jelly ). I really love Arabic...it's such a beautiful language and I always feel this longing to learn it whenever I hear my dad speak it. I really wish he had taught it to me when I was younger. How long did it take you to become fluent?

The Dark Terror has good gain at minimal volume, by this I mean with the gain at 2 o'clock it sounds good when I turn the volume up just barely beyond functionally off. Even at low volume through a single 1x12 it carries into the the other room when my door is opened. When I use the MXR 10 band to drop the volume though I keep most of the tone and loose a lot of the volume, and that tone loss I describe as listening to a cd compared to hearing it straight from an Amp.

Nah, I've never seen the lute player, but one of my Fraternity brothers actually sits in Johnson Square and plays his Recorder and makes some good money from it!

I have eaten at Moon River before but, honestly, I didn't really care for it. Being somebody that lived on the Southside, it didn't make much sense to me to drive all the way downtown, try to find a parking space, and pay $20 bucks for food that I could get closer to home for $14 bucks. The beer is good though.

My Lil' Bruh in the Fraternity absolutely loves the Food and Drink at Moon River. He is part of the Savannah Home Brew association and he gets a free meal at Moon River every birthday, so that's where we end up going.

I think those promotional Emmure boxing gloves were actually training tools for learning how to play their riffs.

"Both of Emmure's guitarists lost their left arms today, leaving the bands music completly unaffected."
