    clarity isn't really too much of an issue on any of the higher gain pickups. They are all made to work well with plenty of gain. Some are a little too aggressive in the high range for the jazz stuff though. Knowing nothing about the guitar or your set up I'd say cold sweat would be pretty straight in terms of voicing. It's less aggressively voiced as some of the other contemporary pickups.

    Hey man,

    I was just searching the pickup thread and noticed you had quite a thorough review of a veriety of pickups. I wanted to ask you - I'm probibly going to spring on a pair of BKP's soon, would you know which pup is best for hi-gain note articulation as well as smooth cleans and fusiony leads? Im searching for a bridge point between ballsy in-your-face metal and beauty jazz/fusion/cleans.

    No pressure, I just wanted another ss'ers opinion!
    Any info is appreciated, cheers dude
