ya didnt check back in ma thread, eh..

plugged 'er in the night i got it.. no sound . so last thursday i took her in to the shop (not a good shop by any means, but i just need them to fix the problem.. it better not be an unsightly bill).

so hopefully i get a working DC727 back on thursday. apparently the in-house tech cant handle active electronics so they had to ship it out.. troubleshooting with max revealed that the tone pot seems to be dead. i didnt know replaing a 25K pot was a big deal and i asked them to put a 52 low E on it since the string broke in shipping.

and im getting a cover for free and knobs should arrive this week..

so im hoping that by friday i have a fairly functional guitar! PM'd ed, hopefully he can scan his back plate for canuck brian, who will make me my plate, then ship it up. if that all goes down this week.. i might have the finished guitar on friday lol.
