Hey guys (and girls?), my name is Craig and I've been playing for 16 years, currently on six strings, but saving up to move into the next level of 7 (maybe even 8). With our first baby on the way, this will be a trick to pull off without my wife clawing my eyes out

My musical tastes are very wide-ranging but I find myself frequently putting on Mozart, Bach, Paganini, and an assortment of Renaissance and Baroque lute works, not just for my wife and I to enjoy but to help stimulate the baby's mind. (5 months is when they start hearing, and I'm hoping to have someone to jam with later on!) I also have a rock 'n' roll heart, though, and I dig stuff as diverse as Django Reinhardt (hence my username), Chet Atkins, Benny Goodman, Bob Wills, Johnny Cash, the Buena Vista Social Club, Bill Haley, Elvis, Opeth, Dream Theater... well, you get the point.
My priorities in life rank this way: 1.God 2.Family 3.Work 4.Leisure
Even though it's not always easy to keep them in balance, I'm happiest when they are.
Other stuff I do for fun: train and play with my dogs (a male Belgian Malinois and a female American Pit Bull Terrier); work on restoring my '73 Ford pickup, and experiment in cooking. I also read a lot.
Oh, and my background is Nordic, i.e. Icelandic, Swedish, etc. Still narrowing that one down though. My wife is from Mexico. We might start a family tree now that the baby is coming.

Welcome man dont feel bad i got 3 six strings two are ibanez the other is a gibson saving for a seven string as well
