Hey, I'm Adrien, and although guitar was my first instrument, I currently play bass and scream in a metal band. I started playing guitar when I was 13, and I'm 22 now, but during the first few years there were times when I didn't play for weeks or months.

Although I listen to a variety of music such as jazz, classical, alternative, rap, hip-hop, etc., metal/progressive are by far my favorites! Groups such as Protest the Hero, Darkest Hour, The Human Abstract, Trivium, Scar Symmetry, Soilwork, Animals as Leaders, Periphery, Scale the Summit, and All That Remains are the kind that I really dig. I generally like music that is dynamic (heavy, melodic, tempo changes, etc), features excellent musicianship, with great vocals, and meaningful lyrics.

I consider myself an okay player, maybe a 4 or 5 out of 10. I'm probably better at bass, even though I play finger style and have only been playing for a little over 2 years.
