Been playing 7's for 9 years

Hello,

I bought my first 7-string in 2000, an RG7620 I still have. I got in to 7 strings because bands I like tune really low and I got tired of trying to tune my 6 down and then back up. I'm in to Carcass, In Flames, Fear Factory, Dream Theater, etc.

I currently have 2 7 strings. That 1999 RG7620 I bought in 2000 with the bridge pickup swapped out for a Dimarzio Evolution 7 and blocked bridge, and a 2007 Schecter Hellraiser. The Hellraiser sounds great but isn't as comfortable as the RG, so I've been looking for an RG with a 27" neck, EMGs and a fixed bridge (no easy task!)

This seems to be a pretty cool forum! I hope to participate more.
