OPERATION YMER - future Strat project
In the near future (once I've gathered up enough money) i'll create the YmeR strat ST120 - a no-nonsense, ultra-light Alder guitar body with EMG pickups.
Unfortunately, I had to use Warmoth guitar generator to do this, so only the body is shown, and you can't get EMG pickups on it, so it's not that good. There's a list of specs too. Body: Alder, black Neck: Maple with Rosewood fingerboard, black Pickups: EMG S/S/81 combo Bridge: OFR gold with R4 locking nut Machineheads: Sperzel locking gold |

changing the design, not sure if i want a pickguard or not. These two are what ill think about, and the one without a pickguard only has two knobs becasue you cant get the Delonge volume position on the rear routed bodies. What do you think, pickguard or not? Also instead of EMGs I was looking at SD Blackouts and they seem good

I personally say no pickguard, but if you do one then I think the black on black looks pretty good.

I am not a big fan of EMGs either (but I do not dislike them either), however the EMG SAs are absolutely fantastic! I do not have a lot of experience with single coils, but the SAs are the best I have ever played if I do not count the split custom-wound Warpig Motorcity neck pup I had in an old sixxer.

Also, made these. seems like its what you were trying to make.
I would do a pick guard, just incase you decide you want hum-hum in the future you don't need a new body. Same with h-s,s-s-s. ![]() Edit: Shame on me forgetting the locking nut. Who needs a guitar to stay in tune anywho. |

I am sad to say that, due to technical difficulties (like a broken window, for instance), the YmeR strat project is postponed. Damn. Well at least i have a fair bit of money, so i'll go get an ESP or something.
