KxK 7S deal specs thread

I know there are only four of us, but I'm curious what specs people are going with.

Mine -
Maple neck.
Hipshot bridge.
Flamed maple fretboard.
HOK "Real Teal"

I just told Rob a couple days ago when we were talking about finishes for the 7DC that I needed to order more guitars because some of you guys were catching up

I'll say again I love the color you picked

Congrats to everybody that got in on this run, I would have probably grabbed one of the spots but I have 3 S style guitars already

nice thread.. i had mine on all Mahogany with ebony fretboard ... slightly thicker neck than original... and we are still discussing about the idea on ferrari red finish with red sperzels

kinda get the idea from technomancer's first kxk 8 string build is nice...

Dat fretboard.

Is it just the angle, or does the grain begin to get closer further down? if so, that would be pretty wicked to follow as the fret spacing gets closer.

wow thats just nice !! i didnt know it offered flamed maple fb till i read details on this thread.. lol

i wanted to go with zebrawood but ended up with ebony ... anyway i also wanted to do coloured finished neck but this build only allowed oiled necks.

Rob is honestly the most customer friendly builder i've dealt with thus far. I have builds with vik, strandberg, bernie, and ran right now. I'm so pleased with the types of updates im getting this early in the game.

I've always wondered when your Kxk's were gonna be built. Seems like they've been in your signature ever since i've joined this site.

You need to pay more attention, the contents of my signature changes over time

The two Sii-7s that were in my sig are at my house (one arrived in March last year and one in October), the 7DC should be done in the next month or so, the swirl is literally a zero-priority project that only got ordered because Herc was running a special, and The 7 Scale will be a while as well as it's literally the absolute last guitar in those runs, I'm betting probably next year sometime.

In the meantime I've got idea for a couple sixes if I get the cash this year
