Washburn WG587 zebrawood refinish
I started this project back in November 2010, but I haven't had much time to work on it until recently. I finished the veneer back in February or so and now I'm starting to really put this together.
Here is the body with one layer of clear coat: ![]() I will be putting in some EMGs once it's finished. I will also be adding white pinstripe binding after a few more layers. Will update as the project unfolds. |

Looks awesome man, I've been thinking of modding my WG587 but still not sure if I want to go the natural finish route or not.

Thanks, if you want to go the natural route I suggest putting on a veneer. A lighter color veneer goes great with the alder body.
