My 6 string based on Hammett's KH2

Hello, my name is Andrej, I am from Slovakia and I am 19 year old. I started building my own guitar when I was 16. I was nearly inspired by Kirk Hammett's ESP KH-2 from end of 80's. I don't like this guitarist, but his guitars are quite suitable for my taste.
What is more, I have never seen before that someone was copying this KH2.

So let's show it:

Neck is made of traditional maple. This piece came from slovak forests. I got it from local luthier Milan Číž. ( Milan Ciz Guitars co.)

And traditional alder body. I took it from Milan Číž too.

Then my uncle routed thruss-rod channel for me and I made basic-raw shape of headstock.

Hardware has arrived ! I took it from most famous slovak luthier Rudolf Sivčák ( Sollerguitars )

Esential work. I had to be absolutely precious in drawing fret distances.
Rosewood is also from Sivčák.

Glued fretboard. Madness to glue it without help

One month of working. I was making it for afternoons in my free time.

Time for make an inlay

I used white teflon despite opinions that it is ugly.

15th fret

Sanded fretboard. Rosewood dust was everywhere !!

Fretworks. Painful work

Time for finish. I used nitrocelullose and I regret it till nowadays. Dirty, nasty work, it take a lot of time for dry.

Finally done ! It took about 1.5 year to build. I was making it usually in my child room on my table near by my computer. My mother was very satisfied

This blue guitar is my friend's. Also home made.

Love that guitar man! How did you route out the fretboard for the inlays? And how did you shape the neck?

The neck was shaped by rasp, then softer rasper, I measured it ony by eyes and feelings in my hand

I obtained a lot of criticism about the inlay, many people don't like skulls and bones and many people don't like this white material, well, it is some plastic.

Firstly I shaped skull or bone using router, knife and rasper and then I cut the same form in the fretboard. Using sharp knife.
The same technology used 100 years ago, Milan Číž advised me this.
