Hey guys my band Validus. My name's Andy and i'm the lead guitarist. We play metal but we have a good time on stage and don't take ourselves seriously like most angry-metal players

Validus is latin for the word power. We are a metal band from Gainesville, FL, we consist of 5 college students at UF and are rockin' our way onto the music scene. We've played a couple dozen gigs here and there and have just finished recording our debut 11 track CD, ...Without Fail @ Skylab Studios.

Keep in mind we tracked these in 1 studio day.

A lot of audio quality was lost in the compression form our CD to put on myspace. Soon we will go to a place like discmakers for replication.

Phoenix Blood = Metal song with an almost power metal chorus.

Without Fail = Title track obviously

Synapse = Lyrics about video games, solo includes numerous samples from games and the very end of the song as well.

Moths to Flames = Bb riffage

Anesthesiac = Hopefully our single that will be playing on Rock 104 radio around here.

Life Through A Keyhole = Our 7-string epic. This one was recorded 6 months earlier w/ completely different equipment (did 1 day 6 songs, 1 day earlier this week 5)
