Then we hung out for a couple other bands (Days Fade, incidentally, was a full set of non-stop breakdowns ) and I had a snowcone. A big one. Cherry. We got $100 for the show, which basically covered gas for the trip We headed back into London, and hung out at Darryl's for a bit, then headed to The Wick for our second show of the day. The place ended up being packed, my old bassist showed up who I haven't talked to or seen in a while, which was awesome. We tore up the place and the crowd loved it. For our third show ever (only second local show, and most people missed our first show as it was extremely short notice) we certainly have a lot of fans And we got another $100 for that show (which was a surprise, as it was a free show, and we weren't expecting to get paid, but we got a share of the bar). Battlesoul were awesome, and so were Synastry from Quebec who took over for Bathed In Blood, and were also a 7-string band (guy was playing an Ibanez Apex2 through a Genz Benz rig, bassist was playing an Ibanez SR-5 through a rig that involved a Vader cab  ). |
