Providence RI Gig tomorrow @ The Living Room

I was asked to fill in for the bassist in with Max Creek on saturday nite.
For those who don`t know of the band, these guys are N/E legends and have been playing together for 36 years now. The band sounds alot like Littlefeat (I know, it`s jamband music, and not metal)

The gutarist, Scott Murawski is a phenominal player who also plays in The Mike Gordon Band (bassit from Phish), and is also going out on tour this year with Bruce kurtzman (Greatfull Dead).

Anyway, I am honored to get to play with these guys tomorrow.
It`s nice to get hired to play for some serious cats, instead of building a guitar for a change

I just worked through the material with what I had.
I spoke with the guitar player tonight, and he said, "just do what you do,Man... and we`ll have fun!"

I sat in with them once before. They called at the last minute and I went in blind. I guess it didn`t suck too bad, they asked me back to abuse them some more.

At least I`m prepared this time

The show went really well. I guess I did ok, as I`m getting alot of

on the bands site. The band suprised me with double drummers, Greg Vasso, and Scott Allshouse (and both,outstanding)

Man is that place is large, but what an Arm pit though

Played to a packed room (elbows to assholes). Killer sound system there....but the power in that place sucks though, so alot of noise, and crackles once in a while

Overall, I had a great time
