Hi everyone!

My band Shadowmind just released our new single called "Aftermath". This new songs represents the way we are going to head down in the future - more brutal and way more metal.

For all you gear nerds:
Guitars are Ibanez RG7620 w/ X2N7 in the bridge position, into my Axe FX Standard using the Marsha HBE with a custom V30/SM57 cab impulse. Bass is a Yamaha 5 string crappy piece of sh*t into the bass amp of the Axe FX. Drums are SD2.0, and everything is mixed and mastered in Reaper.

So what do you think? Do you dig?

Been following your stuff on Facebook and I've been digging it. I really like the riffs in this song and the mixing is sounding pretty good man! Really solid metalcore overall. I feel like the low-end is a bit lacking; from what I can hear it sounds like the bass tone is pretty good, personally I would just turn it up in the mix a bit. Guitar tone is real nice though, great pinch harmonics.
Good work so far man, I look forward to hearing your future work.

Thanks! I really should get a sub for low end monitoring or something, the only thing I have is my set of DT770 phones. But I'll take that into consideration.

The mix will probably be a bit more polished when we release this song again along with an album later this year. We have 5-6 more great songs coming up, so stay tuned!
