Okay, so it's Good Friday. Which kinda sucks if anyone is going out of town to visit family for Easter. But for those of you in town, NO EXCUSES!

I'm seeing Satriani that night, so I'm out of the picture. Out of morbid curiosity, though, how long a drive is it from Boston to Toronto?

EDIT - Mapquest says 8 hours, 500 miles. Yikes.

Based on my experience driving from Toronto to Goshen, MA, it's probably closer to 10-11 hours.

Thanks for the props on the poster. We did a band photo shoot in front of our bassist's projector, using some old 50's sci-fi horror movies as backdrops/overlays. This pic was one that i snapped from right in front of the screen.

Everything else was kind of inspired by the low-tech "8-bit" aesthetic. The font is one that's inspired by the Commodore 64 (hence the "comma-eight, comma-one") and i made a tweaked version of our logo in that style, too.

Our next album is going to be very much in that direction as well... heavy, analog, low-fi and 8-bit textures all over the place. Some of our demos sound killer.

My guess is that the doors will probably open around 8-ish... dunno what time we'll end up going on. There's definitely two bands, a third one may be added to the bill. We're probably going on last, so it'll probably be 10:30-11-ish before we hit the stage.

That'd be great if you can come out!

Well, I can definately tell you I don't have any other plans. And I wont have any other plans, since im not going home or anything. So it's safe to assume that i'll be there.

G3 on the 5th as well. Gonna be a good weekend me thinks.

Scott: You might want to see if some people in your part of the GTA want to drive down... public transit on holiday schedule is a pain in the ass. But at least the place is right on two fairly major transit routes.

Well, that's another thing. I dont know the transit routes that well yet. So i'll have to look into that. Also, don't know anyone with a vehicle other than one of my roommates.

But she's a bitch.

Whereabouts in Mississauga are you again? You might be able to hop on a GO train and make your way to the club from Union Station. Otherwise, catch a bus to Kipling station and come downtown on the subway. Either the King or Spadina streetcars stop right outside the bar.
