Bands needed for show in Detroit, MI

Hey everyone, turns out the girl promoting a show for us at the IROCK Night Club in Detroit, MI is having a hard time finding other bands to play along on that show. She's going for a 'power metal' / 'clean vocals' theme to the show if possible.

Anyone in the SE MI area know of any bands that might fit the bill to put on the show with us? I've been looking all day for stuff online.

(I just can't believe that I'm the only person from MI on ss.org in a band... c'mon guys!!)

Unfortunately our singer sucks. (Me) Otherwise, I'd love to play at the IROCK. Plus I don't know what happened to Ebenezer. Last four practices were just me and Vinnie. I really wish we had our act together by now.

Power metal. You know a singer? I'll give Eb a call, but if I'm singing, you'd better put us on last, because my voice will clear the place out.

Check out the myspace link in my sig for a small sample. We've only got five songs with vocals right now, but we could throw some more together in the next two weeks, since I've been playing with the same guys for like four of the last five bands I've been in. Or we could play our instrumental stuff or do covers. I really don't think my voice will cut it, though, sorry.

Heh - I know NO bands in Michigan, other than you guys, after a quick address book rifle. Maybe Cleveland? I'll drop an email or two...

Hm. Motor City is a bit of a haul, but Organical might be interested. We're just ramping up back into rehearsal mode and we're looking for some heavier shows. Let me run it by the guys... the 22nd might be a little too soon for us to be ready. I'm also not sure about the logistics of us playing on the other side of the border.

There was this kick ass local band in Cleveland called Eternal Legacy that opened for DragonForce. They'd be perfect on this bill. But I dunno if they'd be interested in driving ~3hrs for a show that might only pay $30. LOL

Yeah, I couldn't imagine what hell it'd be to try to get work visas before the 22nd
