It's not that I'm stupid, the problem is you are clearly not reading into the post. You can't argue that lower carb along with higher protein diets are proven to be very effective ways of burning fat and building muscle. This is FACT.

I'm not saying Zero carb or extremely lower carb but lower than normal.

There have been studies done and it's proven that meals higher kill hunger and increase satiety.

So as a minor update, I've lost 10 pounds so far and put on lots of muscle. I'm getting straight A's.
I'm a sophomore (should be a junior) in college. I'm 19, and I've been in college since 16.

The reason I went low-carb is because before I started it I walked at least five or six miles a day (my workout started as a part of my physical conditioning for NYC Parks Department lifeguarding, so I could buy a car), and did lots of pushups and running (way less than now though I guess), and it still didn't do anything..

Besides low-carb I now strictly count calories and don't eat after six, and I have learned to bring olives, etc for tiny doses of carbs in school or when I do HW for the brain (3 olives-1 carb)

But thanks a lot for the advice- I just wish I could do it. Another factor is that I wasn't overweight, I was 176 at 5'11", with a little bit of muscle on me. I just wanted abs. I'm still working on the six but I can definitely see their outlines now. And my arms have doubled.
Did I mention I do 400 pushups and 400 bicycle crunches before sleep at nights? lol, that helped.
Lol I also -my cardio is swimming about 1000 meters a day if I can do it, 500 minimum, at least four to five days a week
