The reason I went low-carb is because before I started it I walked at least five or six miles a day (my workout started as a part of my physical conditioning for NYC Parks Department lifeguarding, so I could buy a car), and did lots of pushups and running (way less than now though I guess), and it still didn't do anything.. Besides low-carb I now strictly count calories and don't eat after six, and I have learned to bring olives, etc for tiny doses of carbs in school or when I do HW for the brain (3 olives-1 carb) But thanks a lot for the advice- I just wish I could do it. Another factor is that I wasn't overweight, I was 176 at 5'11", with a little bit of muscle on me. I just wanted abs. I'm still working on the six but I can definitely see their outlines now. And my arms have doubled. Did I mention I do 400 pushups and 400 bicycle crunches before sleep at nights? lol, that helped. Lol I also -my cardio is swimming about 1000 meters a day if I can do it, 500 minimum, at least four to five days a week |
